Sixers agree to deal with free agent Broekhoff

Former Mavericks guard/forward Ryan Broekhoff looks to pass against the Hornets.

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to a contract with free agent guard/forward Ryan Broekhoff, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the deal is not guaranteed.

Broekhoff, 30, is 6-foot-7 and native of Australia. He appeared in 17 games with the Dallas Mavericks last season, averaging 4.2 points.

He was then waived after the Mavs traded for small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. The Sixers picked him up and then signed him in June for the NBA restart.

His current deal is likely for training camp.
