Pacers sign ex-Butler standout Martin to two-year deal

Free agent small forward Kelan Martin has agreed to a two-year contract with the Indiana Pacers, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Martin is 6-foot-5 went undrafted in 2018. He is a native of Louisville, Ky., and played his college ball at Butler in Indianapolis.

Martin spent the 2018-19 playing in Germany, then signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves before the start of last season. He appeared in 31 games with the Timberwolves and averaged 6.4 points. He also spent time with the Iowa Wolves of the G-League.

Other small forwards on the Pacers’ roster include T.J. Warren, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday. Second-round draft pick Cassius Stanley also plays the position.
