Nets guard Garrett Temple drives to the basket during a game vs. the Spurs.

Free agent shooting guard Garrett Temple has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with the Chicago Bulls, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Temple, 34, spent just one season with the Brooklyn Nets before deciding to run with the Bulls. He will bring veteran leadership to a younger team that could use some.

He also averaged a career-high 10.3 points per game last season.

Along with the Nets, Temple has spent time with the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers.
