Cavaliers add Bolden, Randolph to finalize camp roster

Center Marques Bolden lines up a free throw during a Cavs preseason game in 2019.

The Cavaliers are signing free agent center Marques Bolden and guard/forward Levi Randolph to training camp contracts, Amico Hoops has learned.

Both players have spent some time with the Cavs, but have mostly played for the Canton Charge of the G League.

It appears each will receive an Exhibit 10 deal for the minimum salary. Exhibit 10 contracts guarantee players $50,000 should they remain with a parent club’s G League affiliate for at least 60 days.

Bolden is 6-foot-10 and went undrafted out of Duke. He is entering his second pro season. He appeared in one game with the Cavs last season but has yet to score an NBA point.

Randolph, 28, is 6-6 and went undrafted out of Alabama in 2015. He has been with the Charge since 2018 and led them in scoring last season (16.9 pgg).

Training camp is scheduled to start Tuesday in Cleveland.

The Cavs reportedly have also offered a camp contract to unrestricted free agent center/forward Thon Maker. As of now, their camp roster is set.
