Rockets trade Westbrook to Wizards for Wall, pick

The Houston Rockets are trading All-Star guard Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards in exchange for point guard John Wall, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Rockets will also receive a first-round pick in the deal, Woj reported.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported its a 2023 protected first-rounder.

Westbrook requested a trade after one season with the Rockets. A deal involving Wall and the Wizards has been making the rumor mill for several weeks.
